Talk about old school....
I'm assuming this was like 1986? Not sure, but I know it's definitely a long time ago.
From left to right, we have Bro. Rusty, Bro. Bob and good 'ol gramps.
Three men who were great examples, pillars in our church....who no longer live on this earth.
Life truly is a vapor. Let us do the will of our Lord...for soon, it will be us. We will be the ones who have passed and the only thing that will matter is what we did for God.

So sweet. It was cool for me to see pictures of those much talked about men.
My heart was so touched when i saw this picture. Thank you for sharing it.
Bro Mike sent this picture to me as well, but I am so glad you shared it on your blog! I remember those days, and our dear little church in Long Beach. It makes me remember how well we were taught in those years.
I especially like what you said after the picture. So true, Amber.
it's nice to have another picture in mind of the old brothers I love to listen to but never knew.
I did't see the picture the first time...it twists my heart. Seems at times like yesterday. Bro. Chuck so slow to speak, so sound in speech and so faithful. Bro. Rusty, so confindent and yet, careful, so aware of and understandng of his flock...Bro. Bob, a man, in those days, that gave abundantly of his home and time to the young.
It was MY youth and they were my teachers...couldnt have been better. And they have all gone "the way of all the earth" as we all will. May God help us each one to leave behind us, the testimony of our lives as faithful servants of the Most High God, Sis. Pat
